Job Details

Function

As Head of Project Management, you oversee the entire project management activity at EASIER. You are responsible for the successful execution of projects in terms of profitability, quality, cost, and timelines.

You manage a team of six Project Managers and one Sales Administrative Assistant, providing daily support while ensuring smooth coordination with other departments (Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Sales, etc.). You play a key role in structuring, optimizing, and professionalizing the project management function within the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the overall project portfolio: planning, progress tracking, risk management, and prioritization.
  • Ensuring effective project allocation among Project Managers based on skills and workload.
  • Implementing a governance framework for the project team: reporting processes, working methods, escalation tools, etc.
  • Organizing the department to ensure compliance with contractual commitments to clients in terms of quality, costs, and deadlines.
  • Guaranteeing the overall profitability of projects: monitoring margins per project, ensuring billing milestones are met, forecasting invoicing, etc.
  • Contributing to strategic decisions regarding project feasibility, prioritization, and arbitration.
  • Actively participating in capacity planning: resources, skills, and project load.
  • Ensuring effective cross-functional coordination with Commercial, Engineering, Production, Quality, Finance, and other teams.
  • Providing support in managing complex or strategic projects.
  • Promoting a culture of client feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Establishing methodological discipline in project management practices.
  • Providing clear and concise escalation of key project issues to the leadership team.

Profile

  • With strong leadership skills and a hands-on mindset, you are a driving force who rallies your team around the company’s objectives.
  • Solution-oriented, you are both creative and innovative when it comes to solving complex problems.
  • Client-focused and an excellent communicator, you are able to actively support your Project Managers in front of customers.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • You are rigorous, well-structured, and have strong time management skills.
  • You have solid experience in managing electromechanical projects, including handling contractual requirements.
  • You are a trained Industrial or Civil Engineer with at least 10 years of successful experience in industrial project management, including team leadership or equivalent responsibilities.
  • You are comfortable with both the financial and legal aspects of project management.
  • You are fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
  • You are proficient with standard office tools (MS Office Suite) and work efficiently with an ERP system.
  • Flexible and adaptable, you are willing to travel occasionally (to customer sites, company locations, etc.).
