Job Details
Function
As a Legal Advisor in Social Law:
- You monitor social legislation and legal updates, translating them into practical advice.
- You answer client and colleague questions about HR, payroll, and social law.
- You draft model documents and legal texts.
- You prepare training sessions for clients and colleagues (both content and practical organization). Over time, you will deliver these sessions yourself.
- You maintain contacts with key people and organizations.
- You contribute to larger projects that support clients.
The Legal Team
You’ll join a small but dynamic Legal Department of three colleagues (Janne, Maaike, and Sophie). The team is self-managing, with plenty of space for autonomy and initiative. You’ll build a warm, collegial network with your teammates. Depending on the case, you’ll collaborate with colleagues from the Legal team and/or Payroll Services. For larger projects, you’ll report directly with your team to the Managing Director, Stijn.
Profile
- Bachelor in Legal Practice or Master in Law with a strong interest in social law.
- Motivation and eagerness to learn matter more than experience; we provide thorough onboarding and all necessary training.
- Curious, proactive, and open to new knowledge and skills.
- Accurate, solution-oriented, and clear in communication.
- Team player who actively contributes to a positive team spirit.
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of French.
- Familiar with common computer applications.

Application process

- First interview: via Teams with Sara (HR) to get to know each other.
- Second interview: meeting with another colleague from the Legal Team and HR, to give you a complete picture of the role and collaboration.
- Third interview: on-site in Bruges with Stijn (Managing Director) and a Legal Team member, to further explore your fit with the organization and team.
The process can be completed within about two weeks, depending on availability, so that you quickly get a clear picture of the role, the team, and the organization.
