HIV and TB Clinical Care Advisor

Function
We are looking for experienced HIV and TB Clinical Care Advisors to join our team in supporting the delivery of high-quality, integrated HIV/TB services across selected regions in Namibia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight and support for HIV/TB services across the full continuum of care.
- Support and coordinate community-based HIV/TB interventions in collaboration with local stakeholders.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and comprehensive clinical services.
- Provide direct service delivery where appropriate to strengthen facility-based care.
- Mentor and build capacity of healthcare workers through training, supportive supervision, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret health data to inform service delivery improvements.
Profile
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing and registration as a Registered Nurse with the HPCNA; a postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in clinical nursing with direct management of patients on ART and TB treatment.
- At least 2 years of experience in training and project management.
- Prior experience as an HIV Nurse Mentor or District Quality Manager is preferred.
- Experience in training nurses in NIMART and other HIV/TB-related programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and engage stakeholders to improve service quality at both facility and community levels.
- Proficiency in analyzing health data using tools such as Excel, SAS, SPSS, or similar.
Experience working with PEPFAR-funded programs (e.g., USAID or CDC) in Namibia is preferred.
