Function
General:
- Represents the image of the company in all their contacts with customers, in and outside the train.
- Gives real “Customer Care” to the passengers by means of good service and availability during the whole journey.
- Takes care of his uniform and respects the dress code for the different seasons.
- Is always on time and is informed about his/her duties on board.
- Takes the needed initiatives and decisions always in view of the quality of the On Board Services and is able to organize his/her work.
- Organizes his/her work and has good communication with Supervisors and Dispatchers, Terminal Manager and Train Managers (on board) and Train Attendants working with as a real team player.
Comfort 1:
- Responsible for the necessary verifications on board (load and equipment).
- Serves the customers at their seat, gives good service and “Customer Care” by being friendly and available.
- Clears the tables of the customers, clears the coach where needed and clears the galleys for the unload upon arrival.
Comfort 2:
- Responsible for the necessary verifications on board (load and equipment).
- Serves the customer at the counter of the Bar Buffet Coach with cold and hot drinks or snacks.
- Registers all sales and provides the customer of a ticket.
- Clears the tables of the coach, cleans the bar area and clears the Bar for the unload upon arrival.
Platform :
- Welcomes the passenger at his/her door (all trains to Paris) and checks the passengers’ tickets.
- Indicating the seat number (trains that are leaving FROM Brussels).
- Communicates with the Relais Opérationnel.
- Reports to the Relais Opérationnel.
Profile
- Team oriented; flexibility; can-do attitude; multicultural (Operations within Belgium, France, the Netherlands & Germany); open minded.
- Education: secondary school degree or equivalent by experience.
- Languages: at least bilingual (site language Dutch, German, French + English); other languages spoken on board are an asset.
- Experience within the On Board Services, restaurants, sales or tourism industry.
- Able to organize and to deal with difficult situations.
