We are excited to be recruiting for the role of HR Officer to join us on a 12-month FTC. The HR Team work with all UK co-workers in every part of the employment lifecycle in delivering the People Strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Project manage key HR initiatives effectively and independently, with some input from HR management
- Collating and visually presenting data (and insights) in respect of key HR activities including annual salary review, gender pay gap reporting and ad hoc data requests
- Strengthening working practices and processes around the delivery of HR services to maximise the effective use of data and produce meaningful management information and reports
- Assisting with regular management and Group reporting as well as any other ad hoc reporting requests
- Responsible, with relevant HR Advisor, for ensuring the payroll checking process is efficiently and accurately carried out in line with agreed timescales
- Liaising with Group in relation to HR system and implementing changes as appropriate
- Proactively identify and highlight internal and external developments which may have an impact on internal practice or policy and continually review current process, policy and systems to identify potential improvements
- Manage third party relationships in line with local vendor management processes
- Assist with HR administration and general HR queries, as required
- Support the HR Advisor and HR Manager with any other duties that may be required from time to time
- Cover for the HR Administrator and HR Advisor in their absence as appropriate
- Comply with all regulatory obligations and internal governance to help ensure ethical behaviour which delivers fair outcomes for TBUK customers
- Contribute to the general work of the HR function and work closely with HR colleagues in the provision of a balanced service to all co-workers in the UK

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and Power Point. You will be able to use Excel to collate data, have strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends and provide insights to the business. You will be skilled in using Power Point to present your findings. Strong planning, prioritisation and time management skills coupled with brilliant attention to detail, a pragmatic approach to problem solving and the ability to deal positively when under pressure are also essential.
Great communication skills are a must as well as an ability to build and maintain relationships and identify and interact with key stakeholders (including at Group) as part of the project management process. You should have a good understanding of data protection and respect confidentiality and be able to demonstrate an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

In return for your commitment and hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to £30,000, depending on experience, plus a benefits package including:
- Non-contributory pension scheme from your first day of 8% in year 1 and 10% from year 2 onwards
