Job Details
Function
- For our site in Komen, we are currently looking for a Local Procurement Officer. In this role you ensure the procurement, sourcing and ordering of the local categories at the best possible conditions, and the ordering of the required volumes based on Central Procurement group contracts.
- Works on technical projects
- Participates, with relevant category managers, procurement strategies and policies.
- Executes strategic sourcing on categories managed locally.
- Executes the P2P process according to group policy on all items.
- Handles commercial Supplier Relationship.
- Elaborates local Procurement budgets and plans relevant activities.
- Deploys procurement processes and best practices and relevant rules.
- Reports Procurement KPIs according to Procurement group policies, e.g. on savings
- Ensures Master Data is accurate.
- Manages and coaches local buyers, including their performance.
- Elaborates relevant KPIs and relevant report for local General Management.
- Evaluates Procurement activities and relevant performance.
- Shares financial reports with local Finance and Procurement directorates.
- Proposes correctives actions when deviations.
Profile
- A technical background BachelorElectromechanics degree or mechanics
- A minimum experience of 3 years
- Good knowledge in ERP systems, especially SAP
- MS Office package
- Technical knowledge and insight
