Function
Sopra Banking Software is seeking an Application Support Analyst as part of expanding capability for delivering excellent service to customers for a range of newly developed products on leading technologies.
On a daily basis you will be involved in actioning and solving customer issues with our Mortgage and Savings applications for our UK retail banking customer base. These customers range from tier 1 banks to building societies UK wide.
Profile
We are looking for candidates who have the following skill sets;
- A good understanding of both web based and desktop Client Server architectures
- A strong analytical/problem solving ability
- An ability to communicate technical issues and solutions to an audience with a wide range of technical ability, through various means
- Hold an ITIL qualification
Experience of some of the following technology would be preferential;
- SQL databases and PL/SQL
- C#, Angular JS, XML
- JavaScript (ES6), CSS and HTML
- REST APIs using JSON
- MongoDB
- code versioning tools such as Git
- back-end programming languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java, .NET) and appropriate frameworks (e.g. Node, Django, Spring)
- Unix/Linux

Salary range for this role is £40,000 - £48,000 per annum
