Function
As a Transport Planning Specialist, you play a key role in the daily organisation of our goods transport. You are responsible for the planning, operational follow-up, and optimisation of logistics processes, working closely with our external partners and various internal departments.
Main Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you ensure timely planning and processing of transport orders in accordance with established procedures.

You maintain close contact with our logistics service provider (3PL) to ensure accurate and smooth processing of transport orders. In case of deviations or issues, you communicate proactively, both with the 3PL and internally.

With a solid understanding of internal procedures and transactions, you aim to provide the highest level of service to your internal clients across various departments.

You act as the operational point of contact for external warehouses and transport providers.

You organise logistics to ensure that all products are delivered daily, at the right time and to the right place.

In case of delivery issues, you not only provide solutions but also investigate the root cause to implement structural improvements.

You contribute to the standardisation, documentation, and implementation of processes and support the training of colleagues.

Your sharp analytical mind allows you to critically assess data, generate relevant reports, and support process automation.

You put the customer first and provide appropriate responses to inquiries and complaints. You suggest and follow up on concrete improvements.
Profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Strong administrative abilities and capable of maintaining a clear overview.

Stress-resistant, action-oriented, with an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent through relevant experience.

Good knowledge of the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

SAP knowledge is a must.

Knowledge of EWMS is a plus.
