The HR Advisor supports HR department with all HR Administration for Liège DC. The HR Advisor supports departmental needs in the areas of reporting and cost monitoring, data entry and record keeping through HR projects, HR systems, payroll, while respecting the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). He/she also manages specific HR projects as needed.
The role is part of the HR team supporting the operations functions and will include working in collaboration with other HR colleagues in projects aligned to the functional HR and business objectives.

Job Details
Function
- Support HR Advisor for input and maintenance of employee data into HRIS (HCM, MyCooper, CHRIS21), and ensure that it is accurately updated and populated in the most effective and useful way practical.
- Collate, maintain and utilize data to provide meaningful, accurate information to the HR team/HR Manager.
- Ensure that all administration work related to blue and white collars workers is in order – e.g. prepare and renew contracts, follow-up in/out, provide badges, input in systems, preparing working regulations, ethics policies, and medical visits.
- Manage all the administration linked to social paperwork.
- Process personnel action paperwork and payroll as needed.
- Deal with requests for employee information, provide basic answer to payroll and benefit queries in a timely manner.
- Support daily follow-up in our attendance system – e.g. absences, validation, overtime, holidays.
- Create and share communications on departmental and company objectives, initiatives, changes and updates.
- Ensures in partnership with Total Rewards that total rewards packages and practices remain competitive and aligned with CVI’s philosophy and practices.
- Updates benchmarking data for positions of own sites regularly.
- Provide support and/or manage some specific HR projects for the department. Collect first information and make proposals in collaboration with the HR team.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Work Psychology, Labor Sciences or any relevant field (e.g. Management, Political Sciences).
- 3-5 years relevant HR experience in the areas covered in the job description;
- Knowledge of Belgian social law;
- HR information systems experience is an asset.
- Fluent in French and English. Any other language is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and management of multiple priorities;
- Ability to preserve highly sensitive and confidential information;
- Professional attitude in line with the values of CooperVision;
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work independently on a broad variety of tasks and activities as well as within a team;.
