Job Details
Function
As a Structural Engineer, you are be responsible for the structural aspects of equipment and satellites. This mainly includes:
- Assessment of higher level requirements.
- Derivation of the lower level structural design requirements.
- Supporting our multi-disciplinary engineering team with respect to structural aspects. Verifying/adjusting our designs.
- Performing various structural analyses, using dedicated software packages and/or hand calculations.
- Initiating structural test procedures.
- Conducting various structural verifications/test campaigns, the correlation between analysis and test, test reporting.
Acting as the structural liaison with the customer.
Profile
- Master degree in engineering, mechanics or equivalent.
- Practical experience with respect to structural verification & analysis (using NASTRAN) is an asset.
- Passion for analysis and design interaction.
- Enthusiastic, result-oriented team player
- Good communication skills.
- Fluency in English. Dutch is an asset.
