About our SaaS Solution:
SynaptiQ is 3E’s SaaS product, an independent, evolutionary software suite for asset management of renewable energy portfolios. SynaptiQ collects near-real time data of more than 20 million devices spread over 10's of thousands solar and wind sites spread all over the globe.
We develop and operate advanced analytical services to enrich the monitoring data by satellite imaging data, meteorological modelling, and so on.
The platform is the product of the interactions between a multidisciplinary team of developers, scientists, renewable energy architects, electrical engineers, and enthusiastic sales people that implement, operate and commercialize SynaptiQ worldwide.
The added value realized by SynaptiQ is performance improvement and operational cost reduction for its Operations & Maintenance customers.

Function
In order to achieve our sales targets for the recently commercialized solutions Solar Resource Data and Wind Resource Data, we are looking for a proactive business developer who’s ready to dedicate full passion and energy into the commercial growth of the 3E SynaptiQ Project Development.

As Business Developer for Energy Resource Data you will join the ‘SynaptiQ Project Development’ team, in charge of designing, developing, and commercialising applications, that are integrated into the SyanptiQ suite, dedicated to project developers such as (but not limited to):
- Solar resource data, recently commercialized
- Wind resource data, recently commercialized
- Solar energy yield analysis – development in progress
- Wind energy yield analysis – development in progress
You will report to the Business Development Manager for new SynaptiQ applications.
Your main responsibility as Business Developer will be to manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closing, ultimately achieving your sales targets. For this you :
- Hunt for new customers to build a solid pipeline
- Pro-actively sell existing Solar Resource Data and Wind Resource Data solutions to achieve your sales targets
- Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts
- Participate actively to events, fairs, marketing campaigns,...
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to produce content for campaigns, events, webinars, etc…
- Carry out interviews with customers to facilitate the definition of Solar and Wind Energy Yield solutions
- Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective customers
Profile
Our ideal Business Developer candidate is result-driven and passionate about innovative digital solutions. Someone who has excellent communication and analytical skills. An excellent networker and an active listener able to analyse customer feedback and use it effectively for closing deals.
Furthermore:
- You hold a Master degree in (commercial) engineering, applied economics or equivalent by experience
- You have minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a technical sales position in the digital industry.
- You speak, read and write fluently in English and either in French or Spanish. Any other language is a plus.
- You can show a solid track record in opening new markets and accounts, with outstanding sales target achievements.
- You are customer-focused with a strong commercial sense, rigorous and pro-active
- You are willing to travel when needed
- Experience in the wind and/or solar sector is a plus
